Privacy
Your email, and nothing else.
This covers the Amble website and its beta waitlist. It will grow when the product does, and we’ll tell you when it changes.
In short: we keep your email so we can invite you to the beta. No cookies, no trackers, no selling, no sharing for advertising. Write to us and it’s gone.
Who is responsible
Amble. For anything about your data: privacy@amble.fyi.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist, and whether you joined as a candidate or a company.
- The language of the page you signed up from, to write to you in it.
- When you signed up, as proof of your consent.
Your IP address is used for a few minutes, in memory, to stop abuse of the form. It is never stored. We don’t ask for, and don’t accept, anything else: the form rejects any field other than your email.
Why, and on what basis
To invite you to the closed beta of Amble and tell you about it. Nothing else. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else handles it
- Railway hosts the website and the database where your email is stored.
- Resend sends the welcome email and, later, your beta invitation.
Both act on our instructions only and may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep it until the beta ends or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use or restrict it, and withdraw your consent, by writing to privacy@amble.fyi. We answer within a month, usually much sooner. If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) ataepd.es, or to the authority where you live.
“Your turn” and GitHub
If you type a GitHub username in “Your turn”, your browser asks GitHub’s public API for that profile directly. The request never passes through us, and we don’t see or keep the username or the answer. GitHub’s ownprivacy statementapplies to that request.
Counting visits
To know whether the page works, we count, per day: page views, how far down the page people get, and sign-ups. Only the totals are stored. No cookies, no identifiers, no IP addresses, and nothing that could tell us who you are. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don’t count you at all.
Cookies
None. The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties on its own: fonts are served from our own domain. The only exception is the GitHub request above, and only when you ask for it.
